Management Team | Pat Smith
Pat Smith
Senior Business Developer

When enterprise resource planning (ERP) and business intelligence (BI) became affordable to the mid-caps, Pat Smith discovered his professional obsession. Over the past dozen years he has been an ERP consultant, product manager, budget analyst, and business developer. These differing roles gave him a perspective on the importance of synchronizing all lines of business in a project. In his role at Piraeus Data, business intelligence and data governance take center stage.

Business intelligence is again changing how companies operate. The tools are becoming simpler and more personalized. Dashboards are now role-based. Under these conditions, Pat is continually “recurving” (staying on a perpetual learning curve) to keep him current on these new trends.

Pat believes the next generation of breakout companies will leverage their people and data to uncover their true customer base and teams will discover where profitability can be maximized.
